These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Kahaniyan Publishing House website and services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Services

Kahaniyan Publishing House provides biography writing, memoir writing, ghostwriting, legacy book creation, and book publishing services. All services are subject to a written agreement between Kahaniyan and the client before work commences.

2. Consultation Booking

The consultation fee of ₹999 is required to confirm your booking. This fee is credited toward your project cost if you proceed with our services. The consultation fee is non-refundable if you choose not to proceed. Our team will contact you at your scheduled date and time.

3. Project Agreements

All publishing projects are governed by a separate Project Agreement that outlines scope, timeline, deliverables, payment schedule, and confidentiality terms. Work begins only after the Project Agreement is signed and the initial payment is received.

4. Copyright & Ownership

All intellectual property rights in the final manuscript, including copyright, belong entirely to the client upon receipt of full payment. Kahaniyan retains no rights to the work. For ghostwriting projects, Kahaniyan's involvement is fully confidential and will not be disclosed.

5. Payments & Refunds

• Payments are made in installments as per the Project Agreement
• Refunds are subject to the terms outlined in the individual Project Agreement
• The consultation fee (₹999) is non-refundable
• Work completed and delivered is non-refundable

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, timely feedback on drafts, and confirming that all information shared is factually true. Kahaniyan is not liable for any inaccuracies in content provided by the client.

7. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding project details, personal information, and business terms. Non-Disclosure Agreements are available upon request and are signed before any project begins for ghostwriting engagements.

8. Free Publishing Programme

Our selective free publishing programme is offered at our sole discretion based on manuscript quality and editorial fit. Selection does not guarantee publication if the manuscript does not meet our final standards after review. Marketing and promotional services are not included in free publishing.

9. Limitation of Liability

Kahaniyan Publishing House is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
